Two Worlds


Anon Islet's own Glasfrosch will team up with the incredible Arcko Symphonic Ensemble for a very special event, TWO WORLDS. An orchestral adaptation of Glasfrosch's music will be showcased, as well as performances from Silo String Quartet, A Lonely Crowd (acoustic set) and Arcko Symphonic Project who will present a set of new compositions.

A night such as this can't go undocumented, so Anon Islet Records in conjunction with Arcko Symphonic Ensemble are raising some money to make a short film of the process and outcome of the event. Ennis Tola supports Sleepmakeswaves

Ennis Tola have been on 'hiatus' as they take some personal time before launching their 2nd album. However, they are coming out of hibernation for a very special show with Sleepmakeswaves. After touring with Karnivool as well as playing at South by Southwest and European touring throughout 2011 and 2012, Sleepmakeswaves are kicking arse everywhere with their amazing sound. Check them out on September 21 at Northcote Social Club.

A Lonely Crowd - Review in Progarchives

Gaining a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars for their debut record on the Progarchives Website, 'User Hostile' by A Lonely Crowd is described by reviewer Andy Webb as 'a wonderful mesh of hardcore punk, "alternative" progressive rock, an interesting brand of Eastern European folk music, alt metal, and many different seemingly conflicting yet oddly cohesive genres... I have just about fallen in love with this album, and I am very excited to hear more from this young Aussie band'.

A Lonely Crowd join Closure in Moscow for a mammoth show in Sydney, NSW. Playing at The Bondi Beach Road Hotel, this will be A Lonely Crowd's penultimate show for 2011 before heading down to Melbourne for the EP Launch for Lan Party.

A Lonely Crowd to support Dead Letter Circus

Anon Islet artists A Lonely Crowd are supporting legendary Aussie rock gods Dead Letter Circus for 'Unleashed' at The Pelly Bar, Frankston, Victoria. Joining them onstage are Closure in Moscow, New Skinn, Harlequin, Second Chase and Jerrico. The gig will take place on Halloween, Monday October 31st. Ennis Tola gig dates with Floating Me

Anon Islet artists Ennis Tola are confirmed for four dates supporting Floating Me. Made up of members from Cog, Karnivool and Scarymother, Floating Me are rising up to be one of Australia's seminal rock acts. Ennis Tola joins them on October 27 in Geelong, October 28 in Melbourne, October 29 in Adelaide and December 8 in Sydney.

Album of the Week

The debut album by Glasfrosch has already received its first album review in Melbourne's Beat Magazine. Reviewed by music writer Rod Whitfield, If you go far enough into the sky you'll come out underwater received the accolade of 'Album of the Week'.

Ennis Tola mixed by Forrester Savell

After the release of the single Backbone, the second single by Ennis Tola from their forthcoming second record has been mixed by producer extraordinaire Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Cog, Dead Letter Circus). The track is being carefully guarded until its release due later in 2011.
