Dreamlike and hypnotic, Karen Heath presents music with integrity, drawing from inspired influences in the post-progressive rock world. Fusing together a blend of orchestral sounds, vocals, koto and electronica beats, her live show brings originality and a sincerity of style.
Karen Heath's debut single release, Early , was launched in Melbourne on March 20, 2011, but will be officially released worldwide on August 3, 2011. With the strings and vocals recorded at Abbey Road studios in London, the divine sounds of chamber music-meets-pop is all found in this release.

Karen Heath performs with Ennis Tola on woodwind and keys, and performed with Melbourne band The Grand Silent System for eight years. Classically trained on clarinet, her Master's degree in Music Performance led her to the works of Karlheinz Stockhausen, with whom she performed in 2005 and 2007 as part of the Stockhausen Courses.
As a woodwind player, Karen Heath has worked with Libra Ensemble, Sunwrae Ensemble, The Grand Silent System, composer James Hullick, The Phonos Project, Arcko Symphonic Project, singer-songwriter Lior, for his second album and in concert, David MacDonald (The Waifs), and has recorded and performed for film score and numerous other freelance projects. As part of a quartet for Arcko Symphonic Project, she has been nominated for an APRA award for Best Performance of an Australian Classical Composition in 2009.
As a composer, Karen Heath won Best Music Award in 2006 at the Melbourne Fringe Festival for her work Ananke for bass clarinet and clarinet, dancer, koto and percussion.
